Focus on Generosity

One thing Jesus’ resurrection teaches us is that apparent loss, by God’s power, can produce life and victory. Jesus sacrificed his life on the cross and then was raised to a new life three days later. His new life begins the new creation that we can participate in through the Holy Spirit. Because of Jesus’ resurrection, we are offered an abundant life that overflows to others. Since Christ was raised to new life, we are called and empowered to invest our time, talent, and treasure toward fulfilling God’s mission of bringing that new life in Christ to others.
