Your Heart | Week 1
Read
On September 6, our five campuses will be reciting The Lord's Prayer during worship services. Memorize it to recite along with us.
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory,
forever and ever. Amen.

Focus
Memorize the first section of the Lord’s Prayer, writing it out as a way to remember it.
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Pray
Lord, in prayer I enter eternity, rising above the evils, distractions, and disappointments of this temporary world. In Your presence, I recognize my smallness and thirst deeply to live only for You. Thank You for the Spirit that guides me. In prayer, my worldly cares, fears, and anxieties vanish like a puff of wind. Nothing matters but a holy heart and the salvation of others. Lifted above the world's opinions, I taste heavenly joy and surrender my life entirely to Your hands, laying down my own will. Here, I can freely intercede for my loved ones, the church, and the lost, coming to You as a child to a father. Help me to never cease praying.
