Read |  Hebrews 12:26–29

His voice shook the earth at that time, but now he has promised, Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens. This expression, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what is not shaken might remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful. By it, we may serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire.

God shakes what can be shaken so that what is eternal will remain. What unstable thing are you clinging to that is straining your trust in God or your peace with others?

Since we are receiving an unshakable kingdom, how is God inviting you to pursue restored peace, gratitude, reverence, and wholehearted worship today?

Focus

Make two short lists:

  • What is straining your peace with God or others

  • What remains unshakably true in God’s kingdom

Let the second list steady you as you take one concrete step toward reconciliation today.

Pray

Pray that God would steady you in his unshakable kingdom as you pursue peace, gratitude, and reverent obedience.
