Reconcile | Week 5
Read | Philippians 2:9–11
For this reason God highly exalted him
and gave him the name
that is above every name,
so that at the name of Jesus
every knee will bow—
in heaven and on earth
and under the earth—
and every tongue will confess
that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

Jesus has been exalted above every name. What rival loyalties, fears, or ambitions are creating division in your heart and keeping you from wholehearted allegiance to Christ?
Reconciliation means bringing every part of life under Jesus’ name. What part of your life still resists his rule and therefore remains out of step with his peace?
Focus
Bring one divided area of your life under the lordship of Christ. If there is a habit, relationship, or private loyalty that resists Jesus’ rule, name it plainly and surrender it to him.
Pray
Pray for every rival loyalty in your life to bow before Jesus so your heart may be whole in him.
