I love the above verse along with these. These verses took me from head knowledge to HEART knowledge and relationship with Jesus. I could not live a Christian life without the power of the Holy Spirit. All my disciplines would not work until I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Before accepting Jesus, I was just going through the motions….. without any power to change.

    Romans
 3:23 – for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
 6:23 – For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
 5:8 – but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us
 10:9-10 – that if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
 10:13 – For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
 5:1 – Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ…
