Witnessing to Jesus’ Rescue Mission | Lori Disney

AUTHOR: Holy Scripture

READ:

Read or listen to Romans 5:1-5.

Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. We have also obtained access through him by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we boast in the hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also boast in our afflictions, because we know that affliction produces endurance, endurance produces proven character, and proven character produces hope. This hope will not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

What are we meant to do in the midst of our afflictions? How does suffering build our hope?

The written Scripture is CSB, however, the audio Scripture is ESV.

FOCUS:

In addition to our mentors from the Bible, our siblings in Christ also serve as guides in our journey toward becoming effective witnesses. Watch the video testimony and identify one practice that you can implement this week that will make you a more effective witness to Jesus’ rescue.

PRAY:

Thank God for rescuing you and for the witnesses who stepped out in faith to share the gospel with you.
