Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you

SILENCE:

Pick a phrase from the memory verse that stands out to you. Set a timer for 5 minutes and sit in silence reflecting on that phrase. As thoughts come to your mind, intentionally redirect them to the phrase from the passage.

FOCUS:

Historically, Christians have fasted during Lent as a way to enter in some small way into Jesus’ suffering and prepare themselves to celebrate Jesus’ resurrection on Easter. Pick something to fast from during this season. It could be a kind of food, one set meal a week, or a form of entertainment (TV, video games, social media, etc.). Each Wednesday will be a time to consider your fast and how God is sustaining you in it. 

PRAY:

Thank God for sustaining you and ask him to continue to do so.
