“If you love me, you will keep my commandments.  And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.

Work on memorizing these verses, noticing what God is calling you to confess as you meditate on them.

Pray:

In your journal, write out a brief prayer confessing a moment or an area of life in which you’ve fallen short of God’s call to love others. Then hear God speak this word of assurance over you from 1 Peter 2:24 “He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.”
