Peyton Ott – Stories of Celebration

AUTHOR: Holy Scripture

Read:

Ephesians 1:15-16

“For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints, I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers…”

On Saturdays throughout this series, we will hear stories of celebration from fellow congregants. Before that, each week we will read Paul’s expression of celebratory gratitude for the church at Ephesus in Ephesians 1:15-16. This repetition will help to cement our own attitude of celebration toward our local church and the Church more broadly.

Focus:

Take a few minutes to listen to Peyton Ott share his story celebrating how God has worked in his life through student ministries at one of our campuses.

Pray:

Take time to remember in prayer the specific ways God is working through student ministries in the local church.

If you have a story of celebration that would bring encouragement to the rest of the church, share it with us through the link below! Or you can text in your story to (913) 379-4440. We would love to follow up and hear more about it!

Let’s encourage one another as we lean into this discipline: leave a comment below to share how practicing celebration went this week, and be sure to scroll down to read and interact with others’ experiences!

Really well said, Peyton!!! Makes my heart so happy to serve with you and to witness you having the dust blown away.

Liked the part where you said “what is hindering me from hearing/seeing God in my life.”
