Celebrate Easter and Pray for Revival
AUTHOR: Holy Scripture
Read:
1 Corinthians 15:1-19
Focus:
For over 2000 years the church across the globe has gathered together to remember that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ didn’t stay in the grave. This is a day when the people of God celebrate the everlasting life that defeated the grave. This isn’t merely looking back at what was done although that’s extremely essential, but this is also a time to remember that this same God is alive and at work in His church today whether gathered or scattered across our city. Come and join us! He is risen! He is risen, indeed!!
Pray:
As you prepare to gather with the church today, pray that God would work our hearts collectively. Pray for:
- Those who have been invited to church who are coming for the first time in a long time
- Those who are hurting and need to hear a word from God
- Those who are coming because a family member twisted their arm to come
- Those who are faithfully living out their calling but need fresh wind in their sails
- Those you’ve been praying for during e90 even though they aren’t at a church on Resurrection Sunday
Lay all these people before the Lord in prayer and expect His Spirit to move among us across all five campuses in the KC Metro.

John Chrystostom | Hearing God’s Word Through Others
The discipline of study involves carving time out of our “do more” culture to dig deep into the meaning of truth. One of the best places to study what God’s timeless word is speaking to us is to hear how a Christian leader in another time or culture is processing the truth of God’s Word.
Thank God It’s Easter Monday
