I’m really not sure what we are supposed to replicate from todays passage. At least it is good to remember that God is the Lord of the harvest and it’s his harvest (v2).

I appreciated Jesse’s encouragement to see God and point to God in the mundane. I’m trying to get taxes done today and so far it’s been one interruption after another by at least five of my kids. I can view these as annoyances and get angry (and create lasting memories of a dad who was always too busy or easily angered), or I can see these as opportunities to care and show more of Jesus. This requires trusting Jesus with and for my work and also saying no to other distractions on phone or computer

Lord, help me and those You have entrusted to me today

The harvest is already in process…..we can use “the mundane” or day to day activity to share our story.
    Great reflection Jesse.

I see the passage as “going forth” without any distractions, and openly share. Loose the distractions (something hard for Americans). Be freindly, and focus on one, then…another, not many at a time. Don’t deter from the task in front of us for the rejection in final.
