Prayer to The God Who Sees | Prayer for the Church
AUTHOR: Holy Scripture
Prepare yourself for worship and the preaching of God’s word.
Read: Genesis 16
Focus: After spending the last week meditating on Scripture that reveals the character of God, let us pray in response to God Most High. Take a moment to pray for yourself, others at your campus, your pastor, and all campuses of Christ Community.
Pray: You are invited to pray this written prayer, or write your own prayer.
Father in heaven, sometimes it feels like no one understands the struggles we go through.
Even when we are surrounded by people, we may still feel alone and invisible.
Yet we take heart in the truth that you are The God Who Sees.
Whether we are tempted to boast in our own accomplishments or to despair at our circumstances,
by your Spirit may we be reminded that we are known by you.
When we do not receive acknowledgement, recognition, or companionship from others, may we find our hope and satisfaction in the truth we do not go unseen by you.
And as we come to you united with Jesus and in His name, we find comfort in the truth that we are seen and known by you.
Prepare: After you’ve spent some time in prayer, check out the video below for a preview of what to expect in this week’s theFormed.life.

If we are not intentional, the Christian message of Jesus’ resurrection may be easily overshadowed or absorbed into the mix of the Easter Bunny, Easter egg hunts, pastel colors, and marshmallow Peeps. But as Christians, the resurrection of Jesus must be front and center in our Easter celebrations.
