Read & Reflect on God’s Word | Read Galatians 5
Written By Holy Scripture
Each week we will follow the person and work of the Holy Spirit throughout the biblical narrative rather than anchoring our time in one text. Simultaneously we want to provide ample time to read and reflect on the Scriptures we’ll engage for study.
Take time to read Galatians 5. After you spend a few minutes reading and studying this passage, think back to the videos on the letter’s larger context.
- How does this chapter fit into the rest of Galatians?
- What are you noticing that this chapter uniquely adds to Paul’s argument?
- What specifically are you learning about the Holy Spirit in this passage?
Week 6 of 6 Study
Prayer tills the soil of the soul to receive the word of God. Take time today resting, delighting and listening to God in prayer. Take 10 minutes today to pray for God to speak afresh through His word, and that you would have “ears to hear and eyes to see” His truth and direction.
How does the resurrection change the way you look at ordinary problems? Does it? How can you grow there?
If we are not intentional, the Christian message of Jesus’ resurrection may be easily overshadowed or absorbed into the mix of the Easter Bunny, Easter egg hunts, pastel colors, and marshmallow Peeps. But as Christians, the resurrection of Jesus must be front and center in our Easter celebrations.
