Expanding Freedom through Submission | 03

The disciplines are practices at their core where the Spirit of God does His work of shaping us more into the image of Jesus. Practice the discipline of submission in this way today.
Think back to the article on Submission to the Triune God from Tuesday.
ACTIVE ENGAGEMENT:
- Take 5 minutes to sit and meditate on Matthew 28:18-20.
When you think of the Great Commission do you think of training in submission? (…teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you…) - What is one area in your life where you are not submitting to the teaching of Jesus and therefore the will of the Father and the Spirit’s prompting? Write it down.
- What is one next step you can take right now to submit to God in that area?
- Take that next step today, and while you take it, notice what it is you are feeling, thinking, and believing.
