Enter Jesus | Joining Together Around God’s Word

Take a moment to recite the Lord’s prayer, either quietly or out loud.
After listening to Sunday’s sermon, you may have lingering questions or ideas. Part of walking with Jesus means that we walk with others who follow Jesus, and it is often beneficial to sort through these lingering thoughts together. The following questions have been designed to help you more deeply consider what Sunday’s message may mean for your life with God, with other believers, and with your neighbors.
- What challenged you this week in your practice of theFormed.life?
- When Jesus enters Jerusalem as the true King, He does two things: weep and cleanse the temple. Why do you think those are the first two things He does? What does that say about the kind of King He is?
- Jesus knows that eventually Jerusalem will reject Him as their Messiah, even as they praise Him in His triumphal entry. What do you think changed? What made the Jewish people so disappointed in Jesus as their Messiah?
- Reflect and share specific ways that Jesus has shown Himself to be a faithful and good King in your life recently.
