Meditating on God’s Word / Luke 19:8-10

Take time today to memorize Jesus’ astounding words in response to Zacchaeus in Luke 19:8-10. One of the best ways to meditate on God’s word is to chew on it, and one of the best ways to chew on it is to hide it in your heart. Let the concepts, ideas, and images marinate in your soul as you internalize the Word.

And Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor. And if I have defrauded anyone of anything, I restore it fourfold.” And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, since he also is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.
